See pictures below of our Therapy Rooms.

Individual Therapy

During an individual session you and Dr. Smith will meet one-on-one to determine your specific goals you want to achieve during your sessions. After you begin individual therapy, you may invite any family or significant others to attend sessions with you if both you and your therapist feel it would be beneficial in meeting your goals.

Family Therapy

A family session is available for you and as many family members as you would like to invite. Dr. Smith encourages all household members, regardless of age, to attend family sessions. Additionally, she is happy to have extended family attend sessions as well. During a family session Dr. Smith will all work together to determine what immediate goals we would like to achieve during our time together and focus on addressing those specific issues.

Play Therapy

A young child’s natural expression is through play. Children who are too young for talk therapy benefit through more through play therapy. Dr. Smith incorporates directed play therapy services for young children and their families to help meet their treatment goals.

TELEMENTALHEALTH SESSIONS

Virtual sessions are convenient for busy families, families who live out of the area, or those with health conditions. Telehealth is just as effective as face-to-face therapy sessions. Dr. Smith has been providing telemental health sessions for over eleven years. She is available to provide telehealth sessions to individuals in families who reside within the State of Texas and New Mexico.

ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY

Dr. Smith is trained in providing Animal Assisted Therapy. Along with her own therapy animal, Dr. Smith provides an environment where clients may bring their Emotional Support Animals (ESA) to sessions. If you currently have a registered ESA, please talk with Dr. Smith further about bringing your animal to sessions.

Co-Parenting

Co-Parenting is the art of blending families that produce well adjusted, thriving, and happy children. The purpose behind Co-Parenting is to move past the hurt feelings and focus on how to build your new relationship with your former partner. It is important to learn how to parent together while parenting apart. We specialize in helping educate parents on how to do this successfully. Read more information on Co-Parenting.
